Maize Maze event gets long service leave in 2011.
It’s time to listen to mother nature and give the pastures of The Maize Maze a much needed rest. Although we had planned to host the 2011 The Maize Maze, we have had some rather heavy rainfall in January and Feb that has reeked havoc on our corn-field plantings.
We’ve had to make the decision to cancel what would have been the 12th annual Maize Maze in as many years. Never fear, local agronomists assure us that the land needs a rest from all that growing and so we’re giving it a year off for long service!
The seasonal corn maze is planted each year in November and spends three months growing before paths are made and it is opened to the public. Each year, the theme and design is changed and this year, the maze was to be themed with the circular Tube Slides in mind.
The slides have been enormously popular and promise to bring a smile to your dial until next years A-Mazing Maize event.
